Murder in Lori; a criminal case initiated
A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on murder of 44 year-old resident of Lori region.
On February 22, 2016 at 02:00 a call was received from ambulance service informing that a man’s body was found on the way to the village of Vahagni of Lori region.
The investigatory-operative group headed by the Head of Lori Regional Investigative Department T. Shushanyan immediately left for the site.
Through inspection of the site the body of the resident of the village of Vahagni N. Qochinyan, born in 1972, with firearm injury on the head was found at 300 meters distance from Vanadzor-Alaverdi road.
On February 22, 2016 a criminal case was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.
A plan of investigatory actions and operative-intelligence measures has been worked out to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of the case.
Relevant subdivisions of the Police have been tasked to take measures to find the person having committed the apparent crime and bring him to the investigative body.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
