Resident of Vahan Village Detained for Murdering Fellow Villager
Through preliminary investigation conducted in Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of murder in Vahan village were found out.
It was earlier informed that on April 21, 2020 at about 13:00 the resident of Vahan village stabbed the fellow villager with an axe on his head which caused the latter’s death.
On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 66 year-old resident of Vahan village for allegedly committing an act envisaged by the Part 1 of the Article 104 (murder) of RA Criminal Code. The latter was detained.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
