Search declared for murder of 30 year-old resident of Tavush
Investigatory and other procedural actions are ongoing in Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find the circumstances of murder of the resident of Berd town. On the base of the obtained evidence 29 year-old resident of Tavush region was involved as a defendant.
It was earlier informed that on July 5, 2017 in front of the park called “Mijiaghbyur” in Berd town of Tavush region the person having committed the alleged crime stabbed a 30 year-old resident of Berd town on his abdomen with a cutting-piercing item. The latter died of the injuries he had sustained.
Through preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated in the RA IC Tavush Regional Investigative Department it was found that the victim had sustained the bodily injury incompatible with life in the car parked near the park called “Mijiaghbyur”, sufficient evidence were obtained on the identity of the person having committed the alleged crime; he is a resident of the same region, born in 1988.
On July 11 the investigator made a decision to involve the 29 year-old man as a defendant according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him, search was declared.
The relevant subdivisions of the police were tasked to take necessary operative-searching measures to find the wanted and bring him to the investigative body.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
