Stabbing 3 persons in Syunik region; one person arrested
In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Syunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of stabbing 3 persons in the town of Agarak on September 21 were found; one person was arrested.
On September 22, 2017 at 00:05 a call was received from medical center informing that 3 men, two of them born in 1975 and one – in 1971, with cut-pierced penetrating injuries were taken to medical center. In the result of taken measures it was found that the mentioned persons had sustained the bodily injuries during the same incident.
A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Syunik Regional Investigative Department according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code and in the result of necessary investigatory actions the motive was found, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Syunik, born in 1991.
Pursuant to initial data, the row erupted because of the money account demanded for driving passengers from Yerevan to Agarak during which 26 year-old man stabbed the mentioned persons. The young man was arrested, the latter also presented the crime tool – the knife.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing, measures are taken to provide the objective, complete and comprehensive investigation of the case.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
