In the result of investigatory actions conducted and operative-intelligence measures taken jointly with General Department of Criminal Police of the RA Police within the criminal case investigated in the Department of Investigation of Crimes on Human Trafficking, against Sexual Immunity of Juveniles and Illegal Turnover of Drugs of General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee two cases of illegal procurement and sale of narcotic drugs with the purpose of sale were disclosed; charge was pressed against 31 year-old resident of Yerevan.

During preliminary investigation it was found out that on November 25, 2018 31 year-old resident of Yerevan in the yard of one of the houses of Davtashen 1 district sold drugs of “Marijuana” type to 30 year-old resident of Yerevan.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 31 year-old man according to the Part 1 of the Article 266 of RA Criminal Code.

Through search conducted in the latter’s apartment substance of 0.28 grams was found which, according to forensic chemical expert’s conclusion, is narcotic drug of “Marijuana” type.

Through investigation it was grounded that the mentioned narcotic drug was illegally sold to 31 year-old resident of Yerevan by 28 year-old resident of Lori province.

Through search of the latter’s apartment green substance with specific smell of marijuana of 233 grams was found and sent to examination.

A decision on 28 year-old man’s arrest was made the implementation of which was tasked to the inquest body.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
