28 year-old resident of Lori province wanted within the criminal case initiated in Spitak Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on 40 year-old man's murder was found.

In the result of joint actions of the employees of the RA Investigative Committee and National Security Service yesterday evening 28 year-old man was found and brought to the investigative body. Let us remind that charge was pressed against him according to the Point 5 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him. On February 13, 2019 the issue of confirmation of detention will be considered at the court.

It was earlier informed that on January 15, 2019 at 13:20 a call was received from “Spitak Medical Center” CJSC informing that on the same day a 40 year-old man with a diagnosis of “firearm injury on the abdomen, amputation of the left ear and cut wound on the right ear” was taken to medical center. The man died without regaining consciousness.

On January 15, 2019 a criminal case was initiated in Spitak Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 5 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of necessary investigatory and operative-intelligence actions conducted within the criminal case a number of circumstances were found out, the persons having committed the alleged crime were identified.

Let us mention that within the mentioned criminal case there are two defendants. Charge was also pressed against another resident of Lori province and detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Forensic examinations were commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case.
