17 reports received on electoral breaches recorded during elections held on May 14
As of 13:00 May 17, 17 materials on breaches recorded during Yerevan City Council elections held on May 14, 2017 were received in territorial subdivisions of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee which apparently contain crime elements envisaged by RA Criminal Code.
6 out of the mentioned 17 materials were received in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen, 4 – in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor-Norq, 3 – in the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun, 2 – in the Investigative Division of Arabkir, 1 – in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Norq-Marash and 1 in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
1 material that referred to hindering journalist’s professional activity at the polling station was sent according to investigatory subordination.
Materials in the proceeding of the RA territorial subdivisions mainly refer to attempts of double voting, 1 – to breaching confidentiality of ballot.
Necessary procedural actions are conducted to verify the circumstances containing elements of apparent electoral right breaches mentioned in the reports.
