In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the person who had voted instead of other persons in polling station N 1/05 was identified.

In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case sufficient data were obtained that the member of the electoral commission of polling station N 1/05 had voted instead of Marine Vardanyan and Naira Arustamyan involved in the voter list of the same polling station, registered in the same address.

According to preliminary investigation data, during referendum on Constitutional reforms held on December 6, 2015 the member of electoral commission of polling station N 1/05 A. Atayan filled in invented data of identity cards before the names of the voters of the same polling station M. Vardanyan and N. Arustamyan, signed instead of them in the voter register then cast two ballots into the ballot box thus voting instead of another person.

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against A. Atayan according to the Article 153 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.
