Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on attempt to vote instead of other persons in polling station N 2/11 was completed in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of the RA investigative Committee.
 

Through preliminary investigation it was grounded that during referendum on Constitutional reforms held on December 6, 2015 the commission member of polling station N 2/11 A. Grigoryan filled in invented data before the names of A. and K. Manukyans registered in voter register of the mentioned polling station, registered in the same apartment,  signed and sealed for the purpose of voting instead of other persons. A. Grigoryan did not manage to vote instead of other persons under unforeseen circumstances; the mentioned case was found and prevented by another member of the commission of the given polling station.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against A. Grigoryan according to the Article 34-153 of RA Criminal Code for attempt to vote instead of other persons.
 

The criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation. The bill of indictment was confirmed and the criminal case was sent to court.
 

 Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
