Commission member of polling station N 32/18 charged with voting instead of other persons
In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Stepanavan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the person who had voted instead of other persons in polling station N 32/18 was identified.
Through preliminary investigation conducted in the framework of the criminal case it was found that during referendum on Constitutional reforms held on December 6, 2015 the member of electoral commission of polling station N 32/18 L. Suqiasyan filled in false data before the names of Ts. Saribekyan and V. Baghdasaryan involved in voter lists of the same polling station and voted instead of them.
On the base of investigation results a decision was made to join the criminal cases initiated on voting instead of Ts. Saribekyan and V. Baghdasaryan in one proceeding. On the base of the obtained evidence the commission member of polling station N 32/18 L. Suqiasyan was charged with voting instead of two persons according to the Article 153 of RA Criminal Code.
The criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
