Charge pressed for preparation of organization of mass disorder
Preliminary investigation initiated on preparation of organization of mass disorder in Yerevan on April 24, 2015 by a group of persons is ongoing in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases.
Taking the public interest into consideration, we inform that on the base of the evidence obtained through preliminary investigation charge was pressed against Varuzhan Avetisyan, Pavel Manukyan, Gevorg Safaryan, Zhirayr Sefilyan, Garegin Chugaszyan according to the Part 1 of the Article 35-225 of RA Criminal Code. By the decision of the court, imprisonment was chosen as a pretrial measure against them.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
