Preliminary investigation initiated on preparation of organization of mass disorder in Yerevan on April 24, 2015 by a group of persons is ongoing in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases.
 

Taking the public interest into consideration, we inform that in the framework of the criminal case, in accordance with the law, searches were conducted in the residences of Zhirayr Sefilyan, Gevorg Safaryan, Hovhannes Ghazaryan, Aram Hakobyan, in Yerevan, Lori and Gyumri regional offices of ‘Founding Parliament Initiative’’, in the office of NGO “Union of soldiers of special battalion of Shushi”, as well as in the office of NGO “Sardarapat” and in the car used for its needs.
 

In the result of the search a factory production combat grenade of “F1” type with its explosive considered as ammunition, more than four dozens of factory production and homemade metal and wooden rods for infliction of bodily damage, one brass knuckle and a nunchuck, five knives, two swords, a dagger, two electric shocks, as well as means of communications, a respirator and an air-filter mask were found.
 

On the base of the evidence obtained through preliminary investigation charge was pressed against Varuzhan Avetisyan and Zhirayr Sefilyan according to the Part 1 of the Article 35-225 of RA Criminal Code. A motion was submitted to the court to use imprisonment as a pretrial measure against them.
