A criminal case was initiated in Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on 26 year-old man’s murder.

On the morning of May 31 a call was received informing that a young man’s body with traces of violence was found in the car parked on the road from Sevan peninsula to Sevan’s governmental country house.

The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the scene. A male’s body with smashed wounds on the head was found in the back seat of the car of “VAZ 21074” make.

In the result of measures taken the victim was identified; he is 26 years old, registered in Gyumri and the car, the body was found in, was registered in the victim’s name.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code. An investigatory plan has been worked out, hypotheses have been put forward and investigatory and operative-searching measures of great volume are taken to verify them.

Other information about the circumstances found shall not be published at the moment out of interests of investigation. Information about the results will be provided later.
