DNA of the defendant Valeri Permyakov found on military uniform, results of forensic genetic examination received
The results of the forensic genetic examination conducted in the framework of murder of the Avetisyans family committed in Gyumri investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee have been received.
Taking the public interest into consideration we inform that DNA of the defendant Valeri Permyakov was found on several objects found at the site, including the gun and the military uniform.
Thus, according to the results of examination, DNA separated from the cigarette stubs found at Avetisyans’ home mainly coincided with genetic characteristics of DNA separated from blood samples of Seryozha Avetisyan, as well as Armen Avestisyan with probability of 99,99%. Genetic characteristics of DNA emerged from one male separated from the cigarette stub of “VIP” type found on the gas stove in the house coincided with the genetic characteristic of DNA separated from the blood sample of Valeri Permyakov with probability of 99,99%.
During the examinations the experts separated DNA from the cover of the bayonet knife, handle and belt, bayonet knife belt, military uniform submitted to the examination which also coincided with the genetic characteristics of DNA separated from the blood sample of Valeri Permyakov. The genetic characteristics of DNA of V. Permyakov was also found on the shoulder belt, cartridge holder of AKC-74.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
