Preliminary investigation of criminal cases initiated on voting instead of other persons in polling stations N 34/20, 35/37, 35/35 was completed in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
 

Through preliminary investigation it was found that Nazeli Baghdasaryan, Hovhannes Matevosyan, Ashot Karapetyan involved in voter lists of polling stations N 35/37, 35/35, 34/20, accordingly, did not take part in referendum held on December 6, 2015 and other persons voted instead of them.
 

In the result of investigatory actions the persons who had voted instead of the mentioned voters were identified.
 

According to the obtained evidence head of electoral commission of polling station N 35/37 R. Asatryan filled invented passport data before the name of the voter Nazeli Baghdasaryan, signed and voted instead of her, in polling station N 35/35 the commission member of the same polling station voted instead of Hovhannes Matevosyan, in polling station N 34/20 a resident of Gyumri voted instead of Ashot Karapetyan.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charges were pressed according to the Article 153 of RA Criminal Code for voting instead of other persons in polling stations N 35/37, 35/35, 34/20.
 

The mentioned three criminal cases with the bill of indictment were sent to the prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
