Press charged against two persons for inflicting bodily damages to Mushegh Zaqaryan at the area called “Sdghi Gyol”

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee charge was pressed against two persons for inflicting bodily damages to Mushegh Zaqaryan.
 

In the result of investigatory and procedural actions conducted during preliminary investigation a number of circumstances, the motive of the incident that took place on May 2, 2015 at the area called “Sdghi Gyol” in Goris. The persons having participated in the incident were identified, as well.
 

Through investigation sufficient evidence were obtained on the allegation that on May 2, at about 17:00 at the mentioned area a row erupted on the car crash that had taken place a few hours before in Goris in the result of which the side mirror of the car driven by M. Zaqaryan was damaged.
 

During the row that took place at the area called “Sdghi Gyol” a group of persons used violence against Mushegh Zaqaryan. According to investigation data, RA citizens Yuri Manucharyan, Derenik Hakobyan together with some other persons hit at several parts of M. Zaqaryan’s body inflicting him medium-gravity bodily damage.
 

On the base of the evidence obtained through preliminary investigation on June 12 Yuri Manucharyan and Derenik Hakobyan were charged according to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 113 of RA Criminal Code. On the same day the investigator submitted a motion to the court to use detention as a pretrial measure against them. The motion was sufficed.
 

Measures are taken to find the other persons who used violence against Mushegh Zaqaryan.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigatory and procedural actions are conducted to find the actions of each person having participated in the incident.
 

Additional information on the results of the investigation will be provided.
