A group of students of the "Law" sub-stream of “Eurasia” high school humanities stream and “Law School” of Eurasia international University were hosted in the RA Investigative Committee.

They were met by the Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Arsen Ayvazyan, the Head of General Department on Special Assignments of the RA IC also took part in the meeting.

During the meeting held in a warm and direct atmosphere the Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee introduced the students to the structure of the law enforcement system, the Investigative Committee’s place and role in it, the frame of functions, the way of its establishment in a simple way, with examples easy for teenagers to understand. A reference was also made to structural subdivisions of the Investigative Committee, the requirements for applicants for the position of investigator, the procedure of becoming an investigator. Arsen Ayvazyan also explained the nature of investigative work, the mission in the protection of legal order and fight against crime in the country.

The students were also interested in a mental and moral-psychological description of the investigator, means of fight against illegal turnover of narcotic drugs, importance was attached to teenagers’ refraining from that evil as well as criminal behavior. The students of the high school asked questions about separate investigative actions, as well.

The RA IC Deputy Chairman wished the students good luck in their education, choice of profession and noted that after they have got necessary education, the best of them are expected at the Investigative Committee.

The students of “Eurasia” high school toured in the administrative building of the Central Office of the RA Investigative Committee, got acquainted with the conditions and opportunities created for investigators’ normal work.
