Delegation of Investigative Committee Took Part in Largest Annual Conference of 2024 for Women in Criminal Justice Sphere Held in Chicago, U.S. (photos)
At the invitation of the INL Office of the U.S. Embassy to Armenia, between 1 and 5 September, 2024 Anush Gasparyan, Head of the Division of Provision of International Queries of the RA Investigative Committee and Armine Gevorgyan, Head of Vayots Dzor Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee took part in the annual conference of the International Association of Women Police Officers (IAWP) of 2024, held in the city of Chicago, U.S.
During the conference thematic seminars dedicated to strengthening the role of women, gender equality and leadership, were held.
The Armenian delegation took part in the conference, which is the largest gathering for woman representatives in the sphere of criminal justice, for the first time.
Within its framework meetings and discussions aimed at experience exchange took place with the representatives of law enforcement bodies of a number of other countries, as well.
Representatives of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Police of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs were also involved in the Armenian delegation.
