The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia Paid a Farewell Visit to the RA Investigative Committee (photos)

On the occasion of completing the diplomatic mission in Armenia the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri visited today the RA Investigative Committee.
 

Welcoming the respectable guest the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Argishti Kyaramyan appreciated the personal contribution of Ambassador Zohuri for the significant closer cooperation between the two countries in all fields, the activation of communication between the Embassy of the Republic of Iran and the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
 

Argishti Kyaramyan mentioned that during Mr. Zohuri’s productive activity in Armenia the efficiency of exchanging information on citizens undergoing criminal proceedings, execution of investigative requests has significantly increased.
 

According to the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee the deepening bilateral ties in the legal sphere fully correspond to the spirit of warm, multi-vector relations and common goals of the two countries.
 

Mr. Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri thanked for the warm reception and underlined that due to the direct working communication established in the previous period between the IRI Embassy to Armenia and the RA Investigative Committee it was possible to give urgent solutions to many issues. From that point of view, according to Ambassador Zohuri, the model of cooperation established between the Embassy and the RA Investigative Committee can be considered a successful example.
 

Ambassador Zohuri added that especially in the fight against illegal turnover of narcotic drugs and smuggling, the parties have achieved important results arising from the rights of citizens of both countries, as well as the common goals of fight against crime in which there is still room for development. He also mentioned that in many fields, among them in the field of legal mutual assistance and cooperation, Armenia and Iran have great unrealized potential and future joint activities should be aimed at it.
 

The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee thanked Mr. Zohuri for the active, zealous and beneficial activities of two friendly peoples, expressing confidence that the new Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia will have the opportunity to further develop and strengthen relations based on the already formed rich experience of interaction.
