Two persons arrested in the framework of the criminal case initiated on the incident that took place at the area called “Sdghi Gyol”
Necessary investigatory and procedural measures are being taken in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee to provide the comprehensive and complete examination of circumstances of inflicting bodily injuries to Zaqaryan brothers, the incident that took place on May 2 at the area called “Sdghi Gyol” in Goris.
According to the results of forensic medical examinations appointed in the framework of the criminal case, Harutyun Zaqaryan was inflicted heavy bodily damage and his brother Mushegh Zaqaryan – medium gravity damage in the result of the violence.
Taking public interest into consideration we inform that during preliminary investigation conducted in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases the persons having used physical violence against Mushegh Zaqaryan were found.
On June 9 two persons were arrested on suspicion of inflicting M. Zaqaryan medium-gravity damage by a group of persons, a committal envisaged by the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 113 of RA Criminal Code.
Investigatory measures are taken to find the actions and the roles of persons having participated in the incident. Additional information on procedural decisions made on the base of the results of the investigation will be provided.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
