Through investigation conducted within the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of significant circumstances of murder committed in front of “Queen Burger” fast food were found out, 19 year-old young man – the wanted within the criminal case turned himself.

On March 19, 2019 at 18:20 a call was received in Erebuni Police Division from “Heratsi” hospital N 1 of Yerevan State Medical University informing that a resident of Shirak province, born in 1990, with diagnosis of “cut-pierced wound on the left part of the chest” was taken to hospital where he died without regaining consciousness.

On March 19, 2019 a criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code. 28 year-old man was found the victim.

In the result of urgent investigatory actions and operative-intelligence measures taken jointly by the employees of RA IC Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts, Yerevan Department and Erebuni Division of RA Police, as well as Prosecution Office of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts a number of circumstances of the case – the scene, the motive were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 2000.

Necessary investigatory actions were conducted; through inspection of the scene – on the pavement in front of “Queen Burger” fast food blood-like traces and a clasp knife were found, samples were taken, the clothes the victim was wearing at the moment of the incident were confiscated, witnesses were questioned, person’s recognition was conducted, forensic medical examination of the body, forensic genetic and forensic trace examinations were commissioned.

A decision was made to form an investigatory group and to task the investigation of the case to the group.

During preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on murder it was also found out that within the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts on the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code data were obtained that on December 24, 2018 in front of a house of Sari Tagh district of Yerevan during the argument on interpersonal relations the young man, born in 2000, allegedly stabbed a man, born in 1974. 45 year-old man was found the injured party.

Taking into consideration that sufficient data were obtained on the allegation that the two mentioned crimes had been committed by the same person – 19 year-old young man, in order to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation a decision was made to join the mentioned criminal cases and conduct preliminary investigation in one proceeding.

A decision was made to involve the young man, born in 2000, as a defendant according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him and search was declared.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.

Relevant police division was tasked to take active measures to find the wanted and bring him to the investigative body.
