Investigation is conducted in the Third Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to disclose the murder committed in Myasnikyan Street, Yerevan.

On April 30, 2023 - late in the evening a call was received from a citizen informing that there was a man bleeding, lying unconscious on the ground in front of the entrance of a house on Myasnikyan Avenue, he was not breathing.

A criminal proceeding was initialed in the Third Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 155 and the Part 1 of the Article 335 of RA Criminal Code.

A man’s body with an apparent firearm injury on the head was found at the entrance of the mentioned house. The latter was identified; he is a resident of the same house, pursuant to initial data, he is a Dutch citizen.

Through inspection of the scene two capsules were found, a fragment of a bullet fired apparently from a firearm was found on the entrance door, other items of interest to investigation were found as well.

Numerous witnesses were questioned.

A number of hypotheses have been put forward on which large-scale investigative and procedural actions are conducted, operative-intelligence measures are taken. Forensic medical expertise of the body, forensic ballistic and forensic trace complex expertise was commissioned.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Urgent measures are taken to find out all circumstances of the case, to identify and find the person or persons having committed the alleged crime.
