A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on murder of 25 year-old resident of Yerevan. The suspect was arrested.

A report was submitted to the Head of Central Division of Yerevan Police Department informing that in one of the houses near Nork-Marash 17 Street of Yerevan the resident of Charentsavan, born in 1990, murdered the 25 year-old resident of Yerevan and hid her body in the storage room of the same house.

The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the scene and through inspection of the mentioned house found the 25 year-old woman's body with cut-pierced injuries and traces of impact with blunt item on different parts of her body.

On June 26, 2019 a criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of necessary measures taken within the criminal case 28 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murdering 25 year-old woman.

Preliminary investigation is conducted. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstance of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
