In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee murder of 51 year-old man without permanent residence was revealed.
 

On October 18, 2016 at 18:25 a call was received informing that a man’s body was found in one of the addresses of Bagratunyats avenue of Yerevan.
 

The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the site; the dead man was identified who was V. Aslanyan, born in 1965, without permanent residence. Through inspection of the body scrapes on the face were found. On the same day forensic medical examination was commissioned.
 

According to the medical certificate based on the results of autopsy, the man’s death was caused by close, blunt craniocerebral injury, hemorrhages, nose bone fracture were also found.
 

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, an investigatory plan was worked out and urgent investigatory actions were conducted to find the circumstances of sustaining bodily injuries incompatible with life by the man. As a result, a number of circumstances significant for the criminal case were found and the person having committed the apparent crime was identified.


On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against 45 year-old resident of Yerevan for 51 year-old man’s murder. 45 year-old man pled guilty and gave testimony.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of the case, as well as to find the motive.
