7 criminal cases on breaches of electoral right recorded during referendum sent to court
As of January 19, preliminary investigation of 8 out of 32 criminal cases on breaches recorded during referendum on Constitutional reforms held on December 6, 2015 investigated in territorial subdivisions of the RA Investigative Committee was completed.
7 criminal cases with the bill of indictment were sent to court. The mentioned criminal cases are related to cases of voting instead of other persons in polling stations N 8/08, 8/25, 10/15, 10/14, 2/32, 1/07, 4/26. On the base of investigation results charge was pressed against 7 persons, 5 of them were members of precinct electoral commissions.
Proceeding of 1 criminal case was terminated on the base of absence of crime.
Preliminary investigation of 24 criminal cases is ongoing.
