Candidates of investigators who have completed training together with diplomas received RA IC Chairman’s orders on employment (Photos)

On November 24 a solemn session dedicated to awarding diplomas to 26 listener-graduates of the Academy of Justice - persons involved in the list of candidates of investigators was held in the RA Investigative Committee. The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan, Rector of the Academy of Justice Sergey Araqelyan, Board members of the RA Investigative Committee took part in it.
 

Together with diplomas, the candidates of investigators also received the RA IC Chairman’s orders on employment in territorial subdivisions of the RA Investigative Committee and from today on they will take up their posts.
 

Congratulating the graduates the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan emphasized the irreplaceable role of theoretical and, particularly practical knowledge in the investigator’s work. The investigator is the official whose activity is clearly regulated by criminal procedural legislation therefore it is simply necessary for the investigator to possess the requirements of the law in the best way and be strictly consistent to their maintenance.
 

A. Hovsepyan stated that the bases of administration of justice is the investigator’s work, the requirement set for him is the following –to find maximally the objective reality in each criminal case providing the conduction of comprehensive and objective reality. The RA IC Chairman emphasized that necessary legislative regulations have been developed and introduced to provide the independence of the investigator as a procedural entity and that independence must be shown by the investigator in each criminal case investigated in his proceeding.
 

“No innocent person shall be convicted, no person having committed a crime shall be exempted from criminal liability, it is possible to achieve them only through objective investigation, in the result of evidence obtained in the order defined by law”, A. Hovsepyan mentioned emphasizing that it is possible to achieve the restoration of social justice, prevention of crimes only in this way.
 

The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee expressed gratitude to the Academy of Justice for organizing the professional trainings of the candidates of investigator and awarded the Rector of the Academy - Sergey Araqelyan with a medal for Cooperation and the Head of Department of Teaching - Hasmik Avetisyan with Certificate of Appreciation.
 

In 2016 the training of the persons involved in the list of candidates of investigators was conducted in two groups in the Academy of Justice. 26 candidates of investigators were involved in the first group and the solemn ceremony of giving their diplomas was held today.
 

20 more candidates are continuing trainings who will finish them in December this year and if they have positive results they will be employed in the RA Investigative Committee.  
 

The professional training of the candidates of investigator is assigned to the Academy of Justice by law. The total duration of teaching the candidates of investigators is about eight months (the first group from March 1 to November 4, 2016) including 20 weeks’ probation period. The professional training was conducted by full-time teaching through classroom teaching and probation ways. The total number of training hours is 1670 academic hours. The training was conducted on the base of general, adjacent and professional trainings.
 

The training program is directed to formation of necessary skills for candidates in the post of investigators, as well as to expansion of volume of professional knowledge.
