The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia A. Kyaramyan received the delegation headed by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Artsakh I. Grigoryan.

During the meeting with participation of the officials of the Investigative Committees of Armenia and Artsakh several issues related to cooperation were discussed.

During the exchange of ideas reference was made to a number of issues on application of the new Criminal and Criminal Procedure Codes of the Republic of Armenia which had entered into force since July 1, 2022 referring to the process of pretrial proceeding. Some procedural approaches on the development of drafts of new codes in the Republic of Artsakh were outlined, as well.

The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee A. Kyaramyan expressed willingness to show continuous assistance to the counterparts in Artsakh in new legislative regulations as well as in organizational and joint program implementation issues highly assessing the efficiency of the meetings with similar formats.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Artsakh I. Grigoryan congratulated the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee on obtaining the rank of the Third Class State Councilor of Justice wishing him new service successes in favor of efficient organization of the most important process of strengthening the legal system in the Republic of Armenia.

During the meeting the productivity of the cooperation within the criminal cases initiated on the aggressive war unleashed by the Republic of Azerbaijan against the Republic of Artsakh was emphasized.

Within the framework of the meeting importance was attached to the continuous and efficient cooperation between the two structures in the field of crime prevention and disclosure as well as other areas of work.
