In the result of large-scale investigative and other procedural actions conducted within the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of 37 year-old man’s murder were found out.

Pursuant to data obtained through investigation on March 8, 2021 at about 01:00 having used alcohol at the area called “Bji gyol” located on the bank of the river Hrazdan in Yerevan 54, 31 and 34 year-old men, for the purpose of depriving 37 year-old man of life with particular cruelty, out of mercenary motives and combined with banditry, hit him with a hammer on his neck, as a result the latter fell to the ground unconscious. Then they took out his jacket, took his money and mobile phone of “Samsung” model. 31 year-old man noticing that 37 year-old man was alive, in order to complete their criminal intention took him to the concrete water pipe at about 150 meter’s distance and threw him there. Regaining consciousness 37 year-old man tried to catch from the water pipe wall but one of the men noticed it, approached him and kicked him on the face after which the latter again lost consciousness and died.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the above-mentioned three men according to the Points 5, 7 and 8 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 (murder) of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against them.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
