In the framework of criminal cases investigated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of voting instead of three persons in polling station N 5/21 were found.

In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of preliminary investigation it was found that the member of the electoral commission of polling station N 5/21 T. Vardanyan had voted instead of Artashes Tarkhanyan, Vahagn Danielyan and Albert Sahakyan involved in the voter list of the same polling station.

Based on the Part 1 of the Article 28 of RA Criminal Procedure Code the investigator made a decision to join the criminal cases initiated on voting instead of the mentioned persons in one proceeding, and on the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against T. Vardanyan according to the Article 153 of RA Criminal Code, the latter was charged with voting instead of three persons.

Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

The criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to the prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
