Charged with attempt to vote instead of other persons in polling station N 29/25
In the framework of the criminal case investigated in Spitak Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the person who had attempted to vote instead of other persons in polling station N 29/25 was identified.
In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case it was found that on December 6, 2015 at about 16:30 the resident of Lori N. Darchinyan entered polling station N 29/25 located in Italian district of Spitak town and attempted to vote instead of other persons; he attempted to cast the packages with voted ballots into the ballot box, however he could not accomplish the crime under unforeseen circumstances as the commission member Liana Davtyan had noticed and hindered.
On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against N. Darchinyan according to the Article 34-153 of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
