In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case initiated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of 37 year-old woman’s death were found, the person having inflicted her heavy bodily injury was identified.  
 

On November 25 at 14:20 a call was received from substation 6 of the ambulance service informing that they were called to one of the houses of Shengavit administrative district and went there where they found A. Maghaqyan’s body, born in 1979, with a cut-pierced wound on the right thigh. The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the site and conducted urgent necessary actions to find the circumstances of sustaining bodily injury by the woman.  
 

According to initial data, in her temporary residence the victim argued with a man temporarily residing in the same house during which the latter stabbed A. Maghaqyan on the upper part of her right thigh with a cutting-piercing sharp item inflicting her heavy bodily damage dangerous for life. A. Maghaqyan died of the injury she had sustained.  
 

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district according to the Point 14 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. By the decision of the Head of the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district S. Matevosyan the conduction of preliminary investigation of the criminal case was tasked to the investigatory group.
 

Inspection of the site was conducted during which numerous traces of bloodlike substance, a sharp kitchen knife with traces of bloodlike substance, a pair of man’s washed shoes, curtain with traces of bloodlike substance, a table cloth and a man’s clothes were found and confiscated.    
 

Forensic medical, forensic biological, forensic finger print examinations were commissioned to find circumstances significant for the criminal case. About two dozen of people were interrogated.
 

The person having committed the apparent crime was identified; he was found and arrested. The latter was interrogated and gave testimony.
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
