In the framework of the criminal cases investigated in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of voting instead of other persons in polling stations N 34/01, 35/37, 34/06, 35/35 were found, the persons having committed the apparent crime were identified.

On the base of the obtained evidence charges were pressed against the members of the precinct electoral commission N 35/37, 35/35 for voting instead of Nazeli Baghdasaryan and Hovhannes Matevosyan, accordingly. According to preliminary investigation data, invented data were filled in before the names of the mentioned voters, the members of the commissions had voted instead of them.

Charge was pressed against citizen E. Yepremov for voting instead of another person in polling station N 34/01. Through preliminary investigation it was found that the latter had been involved in the voter list of polling station N 33/35 but on December 6, 2015 he went to polling station N 34/01 of Gyumri and taking advantage of nonchalance of the member of commission of the mentioned polling station, telling aloud the number that was before the name of another citizen who had not participated in voting yet, showed his identity card to the commission member. According to data of preliminary investigation E. Yepremov signed before the personal data of Matilyan Rozik, received the appropriate ballot and voted.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against E. Yepremov according to the Article 153 of RA Criminal Code.

The resident of Gyumri A. Darbinyan was charged with voting instead of Gagik Gevorgyan in polling station N 34/06. Through preliminary investigation it was found that the latter had been involved in the voter list of polling station N 34/05 and on December 6, 2015 he participated in referendum. Then he went to polling station N 34/06 of Gyumri and telling aloud the number that was before the name of another citizen Gagik Gevorgyan who had not participated in voting yet, showed his identity card, signed before his name and voted.

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against A. Darbinyan according to the Article 153 of RA Criminal Code.

Preliminary investigation of criminal cases on E. Yepremov and A. Darbinyan was completed and criminal cases with the bill of indictment were sent to the prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.

Preliminary investigation of other cases is ongoing.
