In the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee urgent investigative and procedural actions are conducted to disclose the case of 41 year-old woman’s murder.

The woman’s body with cut-pierced injuries was found today early in the morning in one of the apartments located in 6 Nubarashen Street, Yerevan.

A criminal proceeding was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 155 of RA Criminal Code. In the result of investigative actions and operative-intelligence measures taken within the criminal proceeding a number of circumstances of the case among them the motive were found out; the victim was identified; she is the resident of the mentioned apartment, born in 1981, the person having committed the alleged crime was also identified; he is the victim’s acquaintance, born in 1985.

Pursuant to initial data, the woman has sustained the bodily injuries incompatible with life during the argument on personal matters with her acquaintance.

During preliminary investigation inspection of the scene was conducted, a number of persons were questioned, forensic medical, forensic genetic examinations were commissioned.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to find the person having committed the alleged crime, the instrument of crime and bring them to the investigative body.
