The members of the RA interdepartmental commission coordinating the implementation of international obligations undertaken by the European Convention on Human Rights, among them the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Argishti Kyaramyan, met the President of the European Court of Human Rights Siofra O'Leary in Strasburg.
 

Issues on enhancement of efficiency of execution of judgments of European Court of Human Rights in Armenia, enforcement of human rights standards, as well as the mission of the above-mentioned interdepartmental commission created by the RA Prime Minister’s order in the context of continuous spherical reforms, priorities of its activity, enhancement of efficiency of communication with the European Court of Human Rights were discussed.
 

It should be reminded that the visit of the delegation members was organized together with the Council of Europe. It is aimed at supporting to launch the national mechanism of the interdepartmental commission for the organization and control of the execution of judgments of European Court of Human Rights and to promote dialogues, discussions between the members of the interdepartmental commission and the relevant bodies of the Council of Europe.
