Graduates of Academy of Justice involved in list of candidates appointed in RA Investigative Committee (Photos)
On November 3 a solemn ceremony dedicated to awarding diploma to graduates of the Academy of Justice involved in the list of candidates of investigators was held in the RA Investigative Committee. The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan, Rector of the Academy of Justice Sergey Araqelyan, Board members of the RA Investigative Committee took part in it.
Together with diplomas, 22 candidates of investigators also received the RA IC Chairman’s orders on employment in territorial subdivisions of the RA Investigative Committee and from today on they will take up their posts.
“We have had this tradition for two years already; the candidates of investigators together with diplomas receive the orders of work assignment, as well. And just this procedure of assignment that you make your way with your knowledge must become the guarantee of your professional free work”, said the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan congratulating the newly appointed investigators.
The RA IC Chairman emphasized that the investigatory work is a type of state service during which each activity of the investigator is clearly regulated by legislation and any deviation, violation can be significant for the criminal case, permissibility of the obtained evidence.
A. Hovsepyan mentioned that the constitutional function of the RA Investigative Committee is the implementation and organization of preliminary investigation, pretrial proceeding the pivot of which is the investigator investigating the case. The concern of others, including head staff is to help the investigator in his work.
“There is only one requirement – during conduction of preliminary investigation realize your responsibility to provide objective investigation”, said A. Hovsepyan.
By the orders of the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan a number of people were awarded for active and efficient participation in work of professional training of listeners involved in the list of candidates of investigators of the RA Investigative Committee held in the RA Academy of Justice.
The Judge of the Court of First Instance of Avan and Nor Norq administrative districts of Yerevan, Academy Lecturer S. Marabyan, Professor of Chair of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics of Yerevan State University V. Yengibaryan, Head of Department of Legal Provision and Statistics of the Administration of the RA Investigative Committee, Academy Lecturer D. Tumasyan were awarded a medal “For Cooperation”.
The Head of Division of Provision of International Requests of the RA Investigative Committee T. Hovhannisyan was awarded a medal of the fourth degree “For Impeccable Service”.
The Head of Division of Legislation Development and Relations with Legal Research Center Foundation of Staff of the RA Ministry of Justice G. Hakobyan and Lecturer of the RA Academy of Justice T. Poghosyan were awarded a Certificate of Appreciation.
