On November 1, 2021 a call was received in the RA Police from a resident of Yerevan informing that shots had been heard from the neighbor’s house. Pursuant to the report received from the medical center at the same time a dead man between 45 and 47 was taken to the medical center.

Through inspection of the body wounds similar to firearm injuries were found on the frontal surface of the chest and the left upper back part and cut-pierced wound of 3 cm was found on the right groin area.

Through inspection of the scene 2 fired capsules of bullet of 7.62 mm, a bullet of the same caliber as well as blood-like traces were found.

In the result of taken measures the dead man was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1980.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. The conduction of the preliminary investigation of the criminal case was assigned to the investigative group.

Forensic medical examination of the body, forensic ballistic, forensic biological, forensic trace examinations were commissioned, the clothes the victim was wearing were confiscated.

Investigative and other procedural actions are conducted, necessary measures are taken to find out all circumstances, to identify the person having committed the alleged crime, to find and bring him to the investigative body.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
