Investigation is conducted in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of 43 year-old man's murder. A decision on arrest of the person having committed the alleged crime was made.

On December 18, 2019 at 22:20 a call was received from medical center informing that an unidentified man's body with a firearm injury on the chest was taken to medical center.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of urgent investigatory actions a number of circumstances of the incident, the scene were found out, the victim was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1976. In the result of operative-intelligence measures the person having committed the alleged crime was also identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1979. A decision on the latter's arrest was made.

Pursuant to initial data, 43 year-old man had sustained the firearm injury incompatible with life on December 18, 2019 at about 22:00 during the argument in Yerkatughayinner Street in Yerevan.

During preliminary investigation inspection of the scene was conducted during which blood-like traces were found. The car driven by the person having committed the alleged crime was also inspected during which blood-like traces were found, samples were taken, the memory card of cameras located at the scene was confiscated, witnesses were questioned.

The clothes the victim was wearing at the moment of the incident were confiscated from medical center, 5 lead balls were taken out of the firearm injury of the body's chest and confiscated. Forensic medical examination of the body was commissioned.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Investigatory and procedural actions of great volume are conducted, operative-intelligence measures are taken to find the person having committed the alleged crime as well as the firearm which was the crime tool. Instructions were given to relevant subdivisions of the Police.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
