A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on murder of 64 year-old Gagik Hovhannisyan.

On November 30, 2017 a man’s body with cut-pierced bodily injuries was found in one of the flats in Yerevan. The investigatory-operative group headed by the Head of the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts immediately left for the site. The dead person was identified; he is Gagik Hovhannisyan, born in 1953, a resident of the same house.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code, an investigatory group was formed and an investigatory plan was worked out.

In the result of urgent investigatory actions a number of circumstances of murder, including the motive of argument were found, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified. Search was conducted in the latter’s flat where bloody clothes were found.

On the base of the obtained evidence a decision was made to involve 27 year-old young man as a defendant and search was declared against him.

Necessary actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of all circumstances of the case.
