In the result of large-scale investigative and other procedural actions conducted in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of 44 year-old man’s murder were found out.

Through investigation factual data were obtained that on December 18, 2019 at about 22:00 next to the bookmaker center located in Rostovyan Street of Yerevan 41 year-old resident of Yerevan met his acquaintance – 44 year-old fellow citizen. During the conversation 41 year-old man demanded clarifications on scolding his son but 44 year-old man told that he had not done it. At the suggestion of 41 year-old man they walked to his house yard located in Yerkatughayinner 2 Street where the latter’s son told that 44 year-old man was also among those who had scolded him. During the argument that started after it, for the purpose of illegal deprivation of life, 41 year-old man fired a shot towards 44 year-old man on his chest with a hunting gun he had taken in advance. 44 year-old man died on the way to hospital.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 41 year-old man according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 (murder) of RA Criminal Code and detention was used as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to prosecutor supervising the legality of preliminary investigation.
